Following more than 12 inches of snowfall over the last week, Crested Butte Mountain Resort will open signature extreme terrain today, accessed via The North Face Lift and High Lift. Both surface lifts will begin turning for the first time this winter season today, Jan. 15, just in time for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend. Skier and riders will now have access to more than 1,234 acres at the resort.
