KEYSTONE, COLO – Oct. 27, 2009 – A late October snow-storm is blanketing Colorado in white, covering the top of Dercum Mountain at Keystone Resort with eight (unofficial) inches of snow, and winter storm warnings predicting 18-36 additional inches of snow throughout today and tomorrow in the state’s high country.
With this bountiful gift from Mother Nature and snowmaking operations underway, the Colorado Vail Resorts are in great position for the start of the ski/snowboard season.
Skiing and riding is just nine days away with the opening of Keystone Resort on Nov. 6 followed by the Nov. 12 opening of Breckenridge, the Nov. 20 start of the season for Vail, and Beaver Creek’s opening day of Nov. 25.
