Last Day of Summer = Colorado Snow

BRECKENRIDGE, COLO – Sept. 21, 2009 - Winter is making an appearance today – the last day of summer – in BreckenridgeKeystone, Vail and Beaver Creek, with snow on the peaks and down in the valley, too.

The countdown is on for the start of ski/snowboard season with just 46 days until the Nov. 6 opening of Keystone Resort, followed by the Nov. 12 opening of Breckenridge, the Nov. 20 start of the season for Vail and Heavenly and Beaver Creek’s opening day of Nov. 25.

As in years past, the early bird gets the most epic deal. Don’t delay in taking advantage of one of the best deals in the ski industry - the $599 unlimited, unrestricted Epic Season Pass for skiing at six resorts - Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Heavenly and Arapahoe Basin - all season long. Or, new this year, buy the $399 Summit Pass online (it’s the first time it’s been available for purchase online) for the best skiing in Summit County, Colo. with unlimited skiing at Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin. Visit snow.com or epicpass.com for more information.

Vail Resorts travel expert Scott Donovan advises skiers and snowboarders to “book early” for the best savings. Right now, skiers can save up to 50 percent off a Vail vacation, get a holiday night of lodging for free or even get a free season pass when they book a week-long vacation in Breckenridge. The only catch is that you must book early, by Dec. 1 for many of these deals. Check snow.com for more details about Holidays on Us, the Summit Pass Breckenridge deal and other early-bird deals now and throughout the season.

To find out more about Beaver Creek’s big on-mountain improvements for its littlest guest (like a new tubing hill), Breckenridge’s new base area, Keystone’s new skier bridge, the 10th anniversary celebration of Vail’s Blue Sky Basin and/or Heavenly’s new tubing hill at Adventure Peak, click your way to our new and improved consumer web sites –Breckenridge.com, KeystoneResort.com, Vail.com or Beavercreek.com. The new SkiHeavenly.com is set to launch this week.
