Experiences Not to Miss This Winter at Park City Mountain
- NEW! Shaun White’s The Snow League: The Snow League comes to Park City Mountain January 21 through 23, 2027, bringing the world's top halfpipe snowboarders and freeskiers together for three days of competition, live music and fan experiences. Founded by three-time Olympic gold medalist Shaun White, the league is entering its second season and will build on Park City Mountain's long history of progression in halfpipe competition.
- NEW! Expanded Peak to Plate Dining and Skiing Experience: Following a soft launch last winter, this expanded skiing and dining experience invites guests to eat their way across the mountain and discover signature flavors along the way.
- NEW! S'mores Sleigh: A traveling sleigh will bring fireside treats to surprising locations across the mountain.
- NEW! Build-A-Bear Workshop: Build-A-Bear Workshop comes to Canyons Village this winter, offering an interactive experience where guests can choose, stuff and personalize their own character. Each creation becomes a personalized keepsake and adds another family-friendly way to experience the resort beyond the slopes.
- Holiday Celebrations: Holiday traditions return across Park City Mountain, beginning with the annual Canyons Village Tree Lighting the day after Thanksgiving. The festivities continue with Santa’s ride down Town Lift on December 20, the Canyons Village Torchlight Parade on December 24 and a season-long lineup of festive activities including music, fireworks, caroling, ice sculptures and more through New Year’s Eve.
- Silver to Slopes Historic Mining Tour: Explore Park City Mountain’s mining and ski history on a free, guided, intermediate-level tour of historic buildings and hidden relics across the resort. An expert guide shares the story of Park City’s evolution from a silver mining camp to an internationally recognized winter sports destination.
- Pond Skim: Spring skiing takes a splashy turn in April at the Eagle Super Pond as participants attempt to skim across the water in front of a lively crowd. Spectators can enjoy a DJ along with on-site food and beverage offerings.
New Resort Investments at Park City Mountain
Park City Mountain has invested more than $144 million in lifts, terrain, snowmaking, dining and other improvements over the past decade. New this season:
- A Reimagined Arrival at Canyons Village: Together, the new Canyons Village Parking Structure and 10-person Canyons Village Skyway will create a more comfortable and seamless journey from arrival to the slopes, with covered parking, improved drop-off areas and a direct gondola connection from the garage to the Canyons Village Forum. A convenient mid-station on the Skyway will improve access throughout the village.
- Return of the 22-Foot Superpipe: Park City Mountain rebuilt the foundation for Utah’s only 22-foot superpipe using 3D terrain modeling, significantly reducing the snow needed to construct it and extending the feature beyond standard competition length to allow for an additional hit in the feature. After hosting the world’s best halfpipe snowboarders and freeskiers during The Snow League, the superpipe will remain available as a premier terrain park feature and an important training venue as the resort looks ahead to 2034.
- Remote Avalanche Control in Limelight Bowl: This summer, Park City Mountain installed its first remote avalanche control system in Limelight Bowl. The new system gives resort teams a safer and more efficient way to conduct avalanche mitigation work and open this important stretch of terrain.
How to Best Enjoy the Slopes at Park City Mountain
- Get the Right Equipment with My Epic Gear: Beginning this winter, guests who book high-performance Demo rentals can access the curated My Epic Gear experience without a membership fee. Guests can select their preferred ski or snowboard model, along with BOA ski boots or Step On bindings, online before arriving.
- World-Class Ski & Ride School: Park City Mountain offers children’s, group, private and specialty lessons designed to help skiers and riders of every ability level build confidence and explore more of the mountain. This season, an enhanced app experience for children’s lessons will allow parents to follow their child’s progress.
- Park City’s Progressive Terrain Parks: Six terrain parks offer progressive features for every ability level, from beginner-friendly Little Kings to competition-level Pick Axe and the new 22-foot Eagle Superpipe.

- Eight On-Mountain Lodges: Park City Mountain features eight on-mountain lodges, each with its own energy and menu. Dining highlights include house-smoked barbecue at Tombstone, donuts with breathtaking views at Cloud Dine, elevated Rocky Mountain cuisine at Lookout Cabin and more.
- Après at the Airstream: Keep the energy going after the lifts stop spinning with weekly live music, food, drinks and fireside gatherings at Canyons Village.
- Orange Bubble Bites: Park City Mountain and CVMA welcome back the complimentary orange, rosemary and honey-glazed donut bite, served daily at 3 p.m. in the Canyons Village Forum. This signature treat offers guests a sweet welcome back to the village and the perfect finish to a day on the mountain.
