Where Tradition Takes Flight: 

Just 90 minutes from Boston, Mount Sunapee offers mountain adventures and lakeside relaxation all in one place. 

Summer Operating Hours:  

• Soft opening: Saturday 6/20 and Sunday 6/21  

• Regular hours: Open Thursday–Sunday beginning 6/25 

Base Elevation: 1,230 feet 

Summit Elevation: 2,743 feet  

Summer Activities: 

Mount Sunapee offers a diverse range of summer activities for visitors looking to explore the great outdoors or unwind in comfort: 

• Aerial Challenge Course: Offers three levels – beginner, intermediate, and advanced – ensuring easy progression elements for newcomers while still delivering exciting, high‑level obstacles for returning adventurers. 

• Mountain Biking: Mount Sunapee Bike Park offers lift-serviced downhill mountain biking with full suspension rentals, lessons, trail patrol, mechanical support, and nearly five miles of maintained single-track terrain for all levels. Seven trails are accessible from the Clipper Ship Quad on South Peak, with a pump track and practice loop at the base to warm up. 

• Aerial Sky Rides: Enjoy scenic views of Lake Sunapee on our aerial sky ride up to Mount Sunapee’s summit on the Sunapee Express lift. 

• Mini Golf: 18-hole Miniature Golf Course is located at the base of the Adventure Park on South Peak. 

• Summit Music Series: Starting 6/21, Sunapee will have a rotation of different artists on Sunday afternoon’s from 2pm-4pm. 

• Summit Yoga: Starting 6/27, take in the amazing views this summer while doing something for yourself with weekly Summit Yoga. 

• Disc Golf Course: The Disc Golf Course winds its way in and out of the woods as it follows Province Trail down from the top of South Peak. 

• Archery Course: Featuring fifteen different 3D animal targets with three different distance points at each target, the course is located 0.7 miles off the backside of the South Peak learning area – accessible via the Clipper Ship quad and is included in the purchase of your access to the course. Guests must bring their own equipment. 

Summer Events: 

• League of New Hampshire Craftsmen's Fair | August 1-9: The 93rd Annual Craftsmen’s Fair will be held at Mount Sunapee from August 1-9, 2026.  

• Annual Duck Drop and Fall Fest | October 11: More details to come. 

Saying “I do” with an On-Mountain Wedding: 

Mount Sunapee offers a one-of-a-kind wedding venue with New England-style post-and-beam construction, 360-degree windows, and a two-story cathedral ceiling.
