Stevens Pass Winter 2023/24 Tip Sheet

Stevens Pass Winter 2023/34 Tip Sheet

THE STEVENS PASS EXPERIENCE:

Stevens Pass is home to a community of full-time, part-time and first-time winter crusaders enjoying the very best of the Cascades in Washington State – from numerous bowls, glades and faces to extensive lighted terrain for skiing and riding well into the evening. With an annual snowfall averaging 460" each year and 1,125 acres of diverse skiable terrain, it’s no wonder everyone keeps coming back for more. Whether you are looking for an outdoor adventure, family-friendly fun, or a chance to relax on one of Washington's most scenic mountains, we've got something for everyone. While each person experiences Stevens Pass uniquely, we do have one thing in common: we are all part of the snow-centric Stevens Pass family. The passion for what we do is palpable and shared amongst all visitors at this unique mountain that somehow always feels like home. Families have learned here, and children have grown here and come back with children of their own to pass on the sheer joy of skiing and riding at the crest of the Cascades.

Tip: Don’t want to worry about finding a parking spot on a busy weekend, holiday or pow day, or just want the chance to sleep in? Consider arriving at 2 pm! Spots free up in the afternoon, and we’re open until 10 pm from Wednesday-Sunday once night operations kick off in mid-December.

FUN FILLED ACTIVITIES THE WHOLE FAMILY CAN ENJOY

You don’t have to ski or ride to enjoy Stevens Pass! Just five miles down the road from the Summit is our Nordic Center. Mill Valley is a great place for snow play, and the sledding hill is just the beginning. Our team is happy to help you find your own mountain adventure at the Nordic Center!

Epic Pass holders get access to our network of groomed trails for classic and skate skiing, snowshoeing, and the groomed sledding hill. So, bring a sled, build a snowman, take some laps on the trails, then warm up with a hot cocoa and a bite to eat in the Cascade Depot lodge. We serve food and beverages including alcohol. Our food offerings get more diverse every year and this year we expect to have more tasty treats than ever.

Classic and skate ski rentals are available at the Nordic Center, along with First Time packages to learn with an instructor. We are proud to have a teaching staff that is PSIA certified and has a great deal of experience to get you started or take you to the next level. Snowshoes and towable chariots are also available to rent.

Our Nordic Center will also host six biathlon events this season, including two newcomer clinics where guests can start their biathlon journey.

The Nordic Center is targeting an opening date of December 1, which is dependent on weather. Hours of operation are 9 am- 4 pm Thursday through Sunday and will be open on Martin Luther King Day and Presidents’ Day.

Your Pass, now on your phone with the new My Epic app

New this season, the My Epic app with Mobile Pass and Mobile Lift Tickets is now available to download, allowing guests to use their phone as their ticket to the slopes.

Mobile Pass and Mobile Lift Tickets is a hands-free option for skiers and riders to use at all 36 of Vail Resorts' owned and operated U.S. resorts for the 2023/24 season, with availability at Whistler Blackcomb to follow in future seasons. It allows guests to buy their pass or lift ticket online, activate it in the new My Epic app, put their phone in their pocket, and get scanned, hands free in the lift line using Bluetooth® technology designed for low energy usage to minimize the impact on a phone’s battery life. This season, to ensure a smooth transition, the company will continue to provide physical cards for passes and lift tickets to all guests. For guests choosing to use Mobile Pass this season, watch this video for some tips.

The My Epic app also offers a range of guest-favorite features, including interactive trail maps with GPS location tracking, and mountain and resort alerts, including operational information like grooming updates, terrain status, snow reports and conditions.
