Stevens Pass Announces 2024/25 Winter Season Opening Date and Epic Pass Labor Day Deadline Details

STEVENS PASS, Wash., Aug. 14, 2024 – Stevens Pass is pleased to announce that it will open for the 2024/25 winter season on Friday, December 6, conditions permitting. It’s time to dust off those skis and boards to start planning for a season of memorable turns and après-ski tales by the fire.

This season, guests can enjoy a series of exciting events, including the second annual Women’s Weekend, an avalanche dog demonstration and meet-and-greet, and the end-of-season Springfest featuring a pond skim. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, visitors can explore activities like snowshoeing, Nordic skiing, and sledding at the Nordic Center located just 5 miles from the Pass. Stevens Pass also offers ski and snowboard lessons, which are now available to reserve online, along with equipment rentals and a variety of dining options.

While the stoke builds for the season ahead, guests are encouraged to prepare in advance so they can hit the slopes with ease from day one. Here is a checklist to start preparing now for the 2024/25 ski and ride season:

Save on your ski trip with an Epic Pass
Skiers and riders have until September 2 to purchase an Epic Pass before prices increase. Epic Passes offer significant pre-season savings compared to lift ticket prices and, whether you plan to ski or ride one day or every day, there is a Pass option for everyone.

Epic Day Pass (as low as $73 per day) offers skiers and riders the ability to build their own Pass – choosing 1-7 days to use throughout the season. Epic Day Passes provide up to 65% savings compared to lift ticket prices. Ski or ride for as low as $73 per day at Stevens Pass, Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood, and as low as $95 per day at Whistler Blackcomb.
Epic Local Pass ($746) provides unlimited, unrestricted access to Stevens Pass. For those who want to ski and ride more of the West, the Epic Local Pass also includes access to Whistler Blackcomb, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood, Vail Mountain, Park City Mountain, Breckenridge and more (with some restrictions).
Stevens Pass Select Pass ($410) includes limited access to Stevens Pass on off-peak days, while Stevens Pass Premium Pass ($639) offers unlimited, unrestricted access. Both Passes offer night skiing (3 p.m. onwards) all season long on all days night skiing is offered, including restricted dates.
• Specialty Passes are available including active and retired Military and their dependents ($177), Veterans and their dependents ($573), College ($675) and Adaptive Passes ($492) that offer access to 42 resorts at a discount.

View all Epic Passes on epicpass.com before prices rise on September 2.

Epic Passes also provides savings on other parts of the in-resort experience. Passes come with Epic Mountain Rewards, which offer exclusive discounts including 20% off on-mountain food and beverage, lodging, group ski and ride lessons, equipment rentals, and more – all winter long.

Skip the ticket line, download My Epic app with Mobile Pass
Download the new My Epic app to use Mobile Pass this winter. Guests can buy their Pass online, activate and store it in the My Epic app, and scan their phone hands free at the lifts using low-energy Bluetooth® technology.
