Canyons Village Events and Activities Announced for Summer 2021

PARK CITY, Utah – June 4, 2021 – Today, Park City Mountain, in partnership with Canyons Village Management Association (CVMA), announced plans for summer events and activities at Canyons Village including the return of the Canyons Village Summer Concert Series and annual 3rd of July Celebration. Along with the return of summer events, the Red Pine Gondola will be open from Friday, June 18 – Monday, Sept. 6 for scenic lift rides, hiking and bike haul. Health and safety remains our top priority. At Park City Mountain this summer, we will be operating according to local public health orders and following their guidance as it relates to face coverings and event capacity. Canyons Golf 
Canyons Golf is now open for summer. This 18-hole, par-70 course features over 550 feet of elevation change, offering a challenging and enjoyable golf experience characterized by memorable shots and dramatic views. Season passes are available and tee times may be booked up to one month in advance by calling 435.615.4728.  Additionally, guests planning their summer vacation can save on both lodging and golf when they take advantage of Park City Mountain’s summer Stay and Play Golf Lodging Package.
3rd of July Celebration
Summer events at Canyons Village will kick off on Saturday, July 3 with the return of the annual 3rd of July Celebration and fireworks show! Live music will begin at 5 p.m. on the Canyons Village Stage. The fireworks show will begin at dusk, weather permitting. Admission is complimentary and reservations are not currently required. Canyons Village Summer Concert Series (July 8 – August 28)
Summer concerts will return to Canyons Village on Thursday, July 8. Concerts are scheduled on select Thursday and Saturday nights throughout the summer and will feature an array of musical acts from across the country. Concerts begin at 6:00 p.m. Guests are welcome to bring their own blankets and low-backed chairs to the Canyons Village Stage to enjoy a series of perfect Park City summer evenings filled with live music and fresh mountain air. Concerts are complimentary and reservations are not currently required. More information can be found here.

Park City Wine Festival (Sept. 30 – Oct. 2):
The Park City Wine Festival is a premier destination event where master winemakers, culinary greats and our distinguished guests gather to play, wine and dine in beautiful Park City, UT. Experience more than 100 food artisans, wineries, breweries, distilleries, epicurean purveyors, and locally-made products at this ultimate food and wine experience. Whether you are a full-fledged foodie or an emerging gourmand, you are sure to find more than one event to whet your appetite at this event. There is something for everyone – from food and wine tastings, to seminars and luncheons, to outdoor adventures with food and wine influences, there are tastes and temptations at every turn.
As part of this year’s Wine Festival, four Grand Tasting sessions will be held in Canyons Village at Park City Mountain - two on Friday, Oct. 1 and two on Saturday, Oct. 2. The Grand Tasting features an impressive selection of hundreds of domestic and international wines, plus premium craft beer and spirits. All sessions will feature the same beverages and samples. Summer Dining
Canyons Village will offer a variety of indoor and outdoor dining options this summer. After a round of golf, guests can enjoy family-friendly alfresco dining at Red Tail Grill, or sip an ice cold beer at the Umbrella Bar near the Canyons Village stage. Dining experiences are also offered at Drafts Burger Bar, Edge Steakhouse, Escala Provisions Company, Powder and Kuchu Shabu, the newest restaurant in Canyons Village. Summer Transportation
Park City Mountain encourages the use of sustainable transportation and ask guests to consider alternative options such as carpooling, public transit or the Summit County/Park City e-bike share program. Limited parking is available in the Cabriolet lot at Canyons Village. Additional offsite parking with free public transportation access is available at the Ecker Hill Park & Ride transit stop (via the Jeremy Ranch exit off I-80).
Epic Mountain Rewards
In addition to reducing the cost of accessing the mountains, Epic Pass products provide pass holders with significant savings on the rest of their mountain experience. Introduced last season, Epic Mountain Rewards offers pass holders 20 percent off on-mountain dining, lodging, group ski and ride school lessons, equipment rentals and more at Vail Resorts’ 34 North American owned and operated resorts.
