Closing weekend of Breckenridge Spring Fever is this Weekend
-Event concludes with two-day Easter Egg Hunt and Closing Day Luau
Breckenridge, Colo – April 19, 2011– Closing Day at Breckenridge Ski Resort is Sunday, April 24th, but the 2010-2011 season is not going out quietly. The first ever Mascot Olympics, featuring Ripperoo, the Easter Bunny and other mascots from across Colorado will anchor Saturday’s event schedule, and a closing day Luau & Pig Roast on the TBar patio will take the last day of the season all the way to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

5:30pm: Final Breck Ascent Series race, up Claimjumper run
THURSDAY, APRIL 21
2-5pm: Final “5 ‘til 5” Terrain Park Happy Hour (5 Chair runs 1 hour later to 5pm)
FRIDAY, APRIL 22
11am -1pm: Final Fever Poker Run, starting at Peak 8 Guest Services hut
4pm –6pm: Final Friday EpicMixer in the TBar
SATURDAY, APRIL 23
10am: 2-day long Easter egg hunt: Great Egg Scramble at Breck Rec Center
10am-3pm: Ripperoo’s Mini-World Cup, Swinger Run, Peak 8
10am-4pm: Mountain Top Children’s Museum free kids Easter activities at Peak 8
2-4pm: Spring Fever Mascot Olympics, Peak 8 base
5pm-closing: 2-day long Easter egg hunt: “Hoppy Hour” adult Easter egg hunt, participating bars in town

6:00am: Sunrise Easter Service on the mountain, Quicksilver lift
9:00am: 2-day long Easter egg hunt: egg hunt on the slopes, various runs
