Keystone Resort Announces Opening of Trails on North Peak, The Outback, A51 Terrain Park
  • With more than 20 inches of snow this week Keystone expands its terrain six-fold across its three mountains
  • Starting today Keystone is offering a new lodging package, $99 all season long   

KEYSTONE, Colo. – December 5, 2008 – After receiving more than 20 inches of snow in the past week, Keystone Resort is expanding its terrain nearly six-fold and opening expert-only trails on North Peak and the Outback as well as its top-ranked A51 Terrain Park on Saturday. The expanded terrain offering will give Keystone 814 skiable acres.

Thanks to an incredible week of snow, skiers and riders can access expert-only terrain on North Peak and the Outback trails including Ambush, Anticipation, Badger, Black Forest, The Griz, Bushwacker, North Bowl and more. These trails will be accessible via the Outpost Gondola. Also, Keystone will be opening the A51 Terrain Park, the top-ranked park in Colorado by Transworld Magazine. A51will open with over 20 features and four jumps more than anywhere in North America. Beginner and intermediate skiers and riders will also enjoy the new trails opening on Dercum Mountain including: Scout, Bachelor, Santa Fe, Whipsaw and others.   
 
In addition to the new snow and terrain, Keystone Resort is giving skiers and riders more reason to celebrate with Friday Night Lights Concert Series and new lodging deals.
 
Friday Night Lights Concert with Girl Talk Tonight
Keystone is also wrapping up its celebration of the return of winter in the Rocky Mountains with the last of its free, Friday Night Lights Concert Series next to the new River Run Gondola with Girl Talk tonight at 8 p.m. Guests can ski into the night and listen to music under the lights for a truly exceptional experience. During Friday Night Lights, ski and stay packages can be booked from $89 per person/per night at the Inn at Keystone.
