2026/27 Wildcat Mountain Summer Tip Sheet 

 

Step into the Wild: 

Delivering the best scenic views of Mount Washington, Wildcat is the perfect summer escape offering scenic chairlift rides and a picturesque disc golf course right in the heart of the Presidential Range. 

Summer Operating Hours: June 26 – October 4; Friday – Sunday, 10am-4pm 
Base Elevation: 1,950 feet  
Summit Elevation: 4,062 feet  

 

Summer Activities: 

Top Cat Disc Golf: The 18hole course starts near the Ski Patrol building and follows winter-season fairways across natural terrain with elevation changes, trees, and other challenging features. Free to use, and requires your own disc. 

Scenic Chairlift Rides: Enjoy spectacular views of Mount Washington and the Presidential Range as you ride our high-speed quad to Wildcat Mountain’s 4,000‑plusfoot summit. Turn your chairlift ride into a whole experience with our Sightseeing & Lunch Package, combining scenic views with a delicious mountaintop lunch (includes $20 food voucher* for Slopeside Station). Bring a blanket and take your lunch to the summit for a breathtaking picnic!  

*Voucher is not redeemable for alcohol and must be purchased at time of Scenic Lift Ticket purchase. 

Hikes + Waterfalls: Enjoy the leisurely, 1.1-mile (roundtrip) Thompson Brook Trail, or the challenging Wildcat Ridge Trail with incredible views of Mount Washington, Carter Notch, and the surrounding valley. 

 

Signature Events: 

  • Seek the Peak | July 18: Seek the Peak is the Mount Washington Observatory’s largest annual fundraiser, uniting hikers and outdoor enthusiasts to support vital weather forecasting, research, and education. Participants raise funds through this summer-long Hike‑aThon and then come together for the Après Hike Celebration on July 18 at Wildcat Mountain.

Now is the time to lock in an Epic Pass at the lowest price with the most benefits. Epic Passes offer significant pre-season savings compared to lift tickets, and, whether you plan to ski or ride one day or every day, there is a Pass option.
