Whistler, BC – December 5, 2024Whistler Heli-Skiing has announced a new partnership with Wildcat Helicopters ahead of December 7 – its planned start date to the 2024/25 season. “We are excited to welcome Wildcat Helicopters into the Whistler Heli-Skiing family,” said Erin Tierney, Senior Manager of Whistler Heli-Skiing. “Wildcat brings 26 years of operational excellence as a British Columbia-based, family-owned company, servicing heli skiing, wildfire and industrial applications. Its management team is comprised of industry professionals and some of the most experienced heli ski pilots in the industry. We look forward to partnering with them to continue to deliver the world class heli skiing experience our guests deserve and have come to expect.”

“Wildcat Helicopters is excited to partner with Whistler Heli-Skiing to deliver a world-class experience to its guests,” said Mike Westie, Operations Manager of Wildcat Helicopters. “Our fleet consists of the most modern helicopters in the ski industry, designed to elevate the guest experience while reducing noise pollution. The Whistler community will also benefit from having an additional helicopter operation supporting emergency response needs now and into the future. The team at Wildcat Helicopters looks forward to the start of a great season.”

Whistler Heli-Skiing kicks off its 44th year of operations on December 7, 2024. In addition to being the original provider of world-class heli ski experiences in the area, Whistler Heli-Skiing offers Dawn Patrol - available to guests of Whistler Heli-Skiing when weather challenges prevent flights from happening.  Dawn Patrol is a First Tracks Experience made possible by the unique proximity of the heli ski operation to Whistler Blackcomb. The group is led by Whistler Heli-Skiing's experienced guides, skiing and riding runs before anyone else.
