Mountain Biking, Sightseeing and an all-new Skills Park Make for a Sizzling Summer at Stevens Pass
Signature archery and downhill mountain biking competitions headline an exciting lineup of events, activations and experiences, starting June 28 at Washington State’s premier mountain resort

STEVENS PASS, Wash. – June 24, 2025 – Saturday, June 28 marks the official start to summer at Stevens Pass, with new and returning events and activations highlighting an exciting lineup of guest experiences, from downhill mountain biking, hiking trails, scenic chairlift rides, food and beverage options, RV sites, and disc golf, through to the end of September. It all kicks off at noon in the base area with DJ Abe Martinez spinning tracks, and the Granite Peaks Lodge serving up refreshments from its T-Bar Coffee and Café and Bull’s Tooth Pub locations.

On June 27, Bike Park Pass holders are invited to Pass Holder Appreciation Day, where they’ll get an exclusive sneak peek of Stevens Pass’ network of trails. The experience includes swag and a free buffet at Bull’s Tooth from 11am–2pm. Coming soon to the bike park this summer: an all-new Skills Park consisting of a dedicated progression space with a range of drops and features located in the base area. An official launch date will be announced shortly.

Operating days and hours for the summer will be Friday through Monday from 10am-6pm until closing day on September 29.

Bike Park: The Stevens Pass Bike Park features a diverse network of trails designed to accommodate riders of all abilities, from first timers to seasoned experts. Guests can explore the park’s beautiful alpine setting while riding trails such as Golden Spike, Morooka Motion, X, Rock Crusher, and P.B.R., all open to the public on opening day. Coming soon this summer: a Skills Park located in the base area offering a dedicated progression space that includes drops of varying difficulty, teeter-totters, and other features designed to build confidence and improve technique. It’s an ideal area for learning, teaching, and for youth riders to develop their skills. A Bike Park Pass or ticket is required to enter. For those new to downhill mountain biking or looking to sharpen their abilities, the Intro to Bike Park group lesson provides essential instruction on bike handling, stance, and terrain awareness. Rental bikes are available on site, including our returning GT Fury and Rocky Mountain Slayer models. New this season, we’re also offering a limited fleet of downhill bikes from Commencal, Trek, and Scott, providing even more options to match riders with the right equipment for their experience and riding style.

Hiking Trails: Whether driving from the East or West, stop in to stretch your legs and connect your whole family to nature at elevation with a hike at Stevens Pass. Explore the natural beauty of Stevens Pass on our maintained hiking trails, suited for all ages and fitness levels. These trails provide sweeping mountain views and an immersive experience in alpine terrain. Our signature 2.5-mile nature trail begins at the top of the Hogsback Express chairlift and winds downhill through mountain meadows, talus slopes, and lush forest before joining the world-famous Pacific Crest Trail. Hikers frequently spot alpine wildflowers, pika, marmots, mountain hemlock, and Alaska yellow cedar. Throughout the season, observant hikers may also notice a diverse array of native mushrooms tucked into the forest understory.  Adventurers who follow the trail to the Pacific Crest Trail can continue to scenic alpine destinations such as Josephine Lake.

Scenic Rides: Experience the dramatic landscapes of the Cascades from a new vantage point aboard our scenic chairlift. This leisurely ride offers sweeping views of the surrounding peaks, forested valleys, and the Highway 2 corridor, an ideal way to appreciate the natural beauty of Stevens Pass without the need for a strenuous hike.

Disc Golf: Discover a unique alpine disc golf experience on our 18-hole mountain course, designed to accommodate players of all skill levels. Accessible via chairlift, the course winds its way downhill through scenic mountain terrain, offering both a recreational challenge and exceptional views. Rental discs are available at the Bike Shop, making it easy for guests to join in the fun, whether trying the sport for the first time or perfecting their game at elevation.

Food and Beverage: This summer, enjoy a variety of food and beverage offerings at the T-Bar and Bull’s Tooth, perfect for refueling between adventures. From light bites to hearty meals, our on-mountain dining locations provide something for every appetite. The T-Bar operates daily, with service from 9 am to 2 pm Tuesday through Thursday, and extended hours from 9 am to 6 pm Friday through Monday. The Bull’s Tooth is open Friday through Monday, 11 am to 6 pm, inviting guests to relax and dine while taking in the scenic alpine surroundings. New this season, we are excited to introduce a selection of summer menu additions, including fresh tacos, available at the Bull’s Tooth. Whether you're wrapping up a ride or settling in for a scenic lunch, our culinary team looks forward to enhancing your visit with flavors inspired by the mountain experience.

Events: Enjoy live DJs throughout the summer season. This year’s lineup includes local favorite DJ Abe Martinez performing on Opening Day, June 28, starting at noon. DJ Good Cat returns for a series of high-energy sets, including Fourth of July weekend on July 5, a midseason celebration on August 23, NW Cup Finals Day on September 7, and Closing Day on September 28. In addition to Dj’s, Stevens Pass will once again host the Northwest Mountain Challenge archery event from July 25–27, and a disc golf tournament in August. The NW Cup Finals will take place September 5–7, bringing elite downhill mountain bike racing to the resort. Please note: the Bike Park will be closed to the public during NW Cup Finals weekend. Bike Park Pass Holder Benefits: This summer, Stevens Pass Bike Park Pass Holders enjoy unlimited, unrestricted access to the Bike Park all season long. The pass includes five discounted “Bike With a Friend” tickets, perfect for sharing the experience with friends and family. Renewing Summer 2024 Unlimited Bike Pass Holders save 10% off the Summer 2025 Unlimited Bike Season Pass.  Pass Holders will also receive exclusive early access to the park on Friday, June 27, ahead of opening day. Additional benefits include 50% off day tickets at Northstar Bike Park and 25% off day tickets at Whistler Blackcomb.
