NEWBURY, N.H. – May 13, 2019 – Summertime in New Hampshire is all about lakes and mountains, and Mount Sunapee Resort combines both with the sparkling beauty of Lake Sunapee and a mountain of adventure rising above it. Summer operations are scheduled to begin with the opening of Mount Sunapee’s Adventure Park on Saturday, May 25. Mount Sunapee’s lineup of summer events features fitness, fun and fine living.
2019 Summer Activities:
Mount Sunapee Adventure Park
The fun begins at South Peak with canopy zip-line tours, downhill mountain biking in the Mount Sunapee Bike Park, an aerial challenge course, championship disc golf, miniature golf, an airbag jump and climbing wall tower, 3-D archery, Beck Brook Mining Flume and interpretive hiking trails. At Mount Sunapee, there’s fun, excitement and challenge for the whole family.
Aerial Sky Rides
No visit to Mount Sunapee is complete without an aerial sky ride to enjoy the breathtaking summit scenery and view of the lake below. The Sunapee Express chairlift provides the high-flying ride to the summit where visitors can linger as long as they’d like and take the return trip down. Aerial Sky Rides are available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting June 22.
Kids’ Mountain Adventure Camp
Mount Sunapee offers children ages 5 to 12 a high-quality outdoor experience in adventure and fun. Campers connect with nature through engaging activities while creating lifelong memories and friendships with other campers. Children can attend for one day, an entire week, or on preselected days throughout the summer. The fun begins each day, Monday through Friday, at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m., June 24 through August 23.

Yoga with a View – Wednesdays and Saturdays (weather permitting), June 22-October 5
The popular 60-minute yoga classes at Mount Sunapee’s 2,743-foot summit start at 11 a.m. The class fee is $20 and includes a roundtrip ride on the Sunapee Express chairlift. Wednesday Night Rides, Wednesdays, June 26-August 28
Mount Sunapee extends its bike park hours for special sessions of downhill mountain bike riding on select Wednesdays during the summer/ Two-hour lift passes, valid from 5 to 7 p.m., are just $20. The Wild Goose Grill features live music and serves up burgers and beer until 8 p.m.
Annual League of N.H. Craftsmen’s Fair, August 3-11
Attendees can shop unique crafts, learn how they’re made and even create their own. The Fair features 200 craft booths, fine craft exhibitions, daily demonstrations and workshops, tours, seminars and roving performances. Information is available at nhcrafts.org. Food and refreshments will be available. Show hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily.
