PARK CITY, UT (May 18, 2017) – Today, Park City Mountain announced operating dates for the 2017-18 ski and snowboard season. The Park City Base Area is scheduled to open on Friday, November 17, 2017 and the Canyons Village Base Area is scheduled to open on Wednesday, November 22. Park City Mountain will close for the season on Sunday, April 8, 2018.

Last season, Park City Mountain enjoyed one of the snowiest winters in years with 455 inches of fresh powder at the Jupiter Snow Stake. With snow on the mind, now is the best time to start planning for next year’s ski season and once again, kids get to ski free at Park City Mountain through the Epic SchoolKids Utah program. Utah kindergarten through fifth graders can sign up for the free program online now and will get five free days of skiing or riding at Park City Mountain next season. Online registration is open for a limited time at www.epicschoolkids.com/utah.

Those already dreaming of fresh powder turns will find the best deal on a Park City ski vacation with the Epic Local Pass. Available now for $639, the Epic Local Pass offers direct-to-lift access and unlimited days of skiing with only 11 holiday restrictions at Park City Mountain. In addition to Park City skiing, the Local Pass also includes unlimited, unrestricted skiing or riding at Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin in Colorado with limited restrictions at Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood in Tahoe and a total of 10 days at Vail, Beaver Creek, Stowe and Whistler Blackcomb. Epic Local Passes are currently available for purchase online at www.epicpass.com.
