BROOMFIELD, Colo. – Jan. 5, 2017 – The New Year has resolved to deliver massive amounts of snow across ski resorts in the western United States, with as much as six feet falling in the last week. A heavy band of snow is expected to continue falling today across the mountains throughout the day, including Colorado’s Vail Mountain, Beaver Creek Resort, Breckenridge and Keystone; Utah’s Park City Mountain; and the Lake Tahoe Region’s Heavenly Mountain Resort, Northstar California and Kirkwood Mountain Resort.

Snow continues to fall at the four Colorado resorts this morning, with snow accumulation totals between the 5 a.m. snow report and 11 a.m. MST ranging from 6 to 14 inches at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone.
