Learn to Ski and Snowboard from the Best Instructors at Vail Resorts
After a grueling four-day competitive selection process, the Professional Ski Instructors of America and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (PSIA-AASI) selected 30 members to represent the organization at the national level. Ten members named to the team are Vail Resorts instructors.
Guests who visit a Vail Resorts property have the opportunity to learn from the top ski and snowboard instructors in the country.
“It’s an incredible accomplishment for the instructors named to the PSIA-AASI Team,” said Bobby Murphy, vice president of the Vail Ski & Snowboard School. “Our guests enrolling in ski and snowboard school will receive one-of-a-kind instruction that will advance their abilities on the slopes.”
The PSIA-AASI Teams are made up of 30 men and women selected from among the best instructors in the country. They represent the full breadth of the ski and snowboard disciplines: adaptive, alpine, alpine freestyle, cross country, telemark, and snowboard.
The following Vail Resorts instructors were named to the 2016-2020 PSIA-AASI Team:
Once chosen, team members are responsible for promoting, supporting and assisting with the development of PSIA-AASI education programs and activities and set the standard for U.S. snowsports instruction.
