TRUCKEE, Calif. – December 5, 2016 – Today, Vail Resorts, Inc. (NYSE: MTN) (“Vail Resorts”) announced the appointment of Nadia Guerriero as the new Northstar California Resort vice president and general manager, effective immediately. Guerriero replaces Beth Howard who accepted the Chief Operating Officer role at Beaver Creek, one of the company’s Colorado resorts. “Northstar is an extraordinary mountain within the Vail Resorts family with countless opportunities. I’m excited to work closer with our incredible talent across the mountain and help take the team and the resort to the next level,” Guerriero stated. “One attribute that makes our resort exceptional is the incredible Tahoe-Truckee community support. I’m thrilled to continue building strong relationships with all of our community partners, who are essential to our success.”
“Over the last nine years at Northstar, Nadia has played a key role in transforming and elevating guest service, safety and village operations,” said Pete Sonntag, senior vice president and the chief operating officer of all Vail Resorts Tahoe resorts. “She brings significant industry experience and a deep understanding of Northstar operations that will benefit both the resort and the greater local community. I’m delighted to see Nadia in this new role and confident she will bring to it incredible leadership and innovation.”
