Deadline to Purchase Epic Local Pass and Keystone A-Basin Pass is Nov. 20
SUMMIT COUNTY AND EAGLE COUNTY, Colo. — Nov. 17, 2016  Winter has returned, bringing snow to the Rocky Mountains this week, just in time for opening day at Keystone on Friday, Nov. 18 and Breckenridge on Saturday, Nov. 19. The deadline to purchase a season pass to experience skiing and snowboarding at Colorado’s premier resorts is Sunday, Nov. 20With the recent addition of Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia, Canada, all 2016-2017 Epic Local Pass and Epic Pass holders will receive five days of skiing and snowboarding at Whistler Blackcomb this winter season. With a variety of passes available, including the Keystone A-Basin Pass, skiers and snowboarders across the Centennial State can choose from a variety of price points and access options that best suits their skiing and snowboarding needs.
 
Arapahoe Basin is already open for skiing and snowboarding and with the recent arrival of fresh snow and cold temperatures, Keystone will welcome skiers on Friday, Nov. 18 and Breckenridge will open on Saturday, Nov. 19. Beaver Creek is scheduled to begin the ski season on Wednesday, Nov. 23, while Vail plans to open on Friday, Nov. 25. Located less than 60 miles from one another, Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin allow guests to enjoy a variety of experiences this winter without traveling further than a couple hours from Denver. Improvements for this season at these easy-to-access resorts include a new restaurant at the top of Peak 7 at Breckenridge and a new high-speed four-passenger chairlift replacing the fixed-grip triple Sun Up Lift (#17) at Vail. In total, Vail Resorts will invest more than $100 million in resort improvements for the 2016-2017 winter season and continues to invest in the guest experience.

2016-2017 Season Pass Options for Colorado Skiers and Snowboarders
  • Keystone A-Basin Pass: The best deal on unlimited skiing in Colorado. Unlimited access to Keystone and Arapahoe Basin with limited holiday restrictions. $339 for adults and $259 for children (ages five to 12).
  • Summit Value Pass: For Summit County loyalists, the Summit Value Pass pays for itself in just over three days and features unlimited skiing or riding at Keystone and Arapahoe Basin with limited restrictions at Breckenridge. $539 for adults and $319 for children (ages five to 12).
  • Epic Local Pass: For $649, receive unlimited and unrestricted skiing or riding at Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin with limited restrictions at Park City, Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood, plus a total of 10 days at Vail and Beaver Creek with holiday restrictions. Now with five free days at Whistler Blackcomb in 2016-2017 with holiday restrictions. The Epic Local Pass pays for itself in just over three days. A child pass (ages five to 12) is $339.
  • Epic Pass™: Ski unlimited and unrestricted from opening day to closing day for only $849. The Epic Pass pays for itself in just over four days of skiing or snowboarding. Enjoy full access to Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin in Colorado; Park City in Utah; Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood at Lake Tahoe; Afton Alps in Minnesota; Mt.
