Deadline to Purchase Winter Ski and Snowboard Season Passes to Best of Tahoe Resorts – Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood

• Epic Pass Now Includes Five Days of Skiing at Whistler Blackcomb

NORTH AND SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif./Nev. – Nov. 16, 2016 –With the recent arrival of fresh snow, skiers and snowboarders are getting excited for the ski season, which begins with opening day scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 23 at Heavenly and Northstar. This Sunday, Nov. 20, is the deadline for skiers and snowboarders to get their season passes for the Best of Tahoe resorts -- Heavenly Mountain, Northstar California and Kirkwood Mountain. With the recent addition of Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia, Canada, all 2016-2017 Epic Pass holders will receive five free days of skiing and snowboarding at Whistler Blackcomb. Tahoe Local Pass holders will receive five free days in Colorado and Utah this winter season with holiday restrictions.
 
The Best of Tahoe resorts bring the spirit of Lake Tahoe’s most famed characteristics together in one season pass – from Heavenly’ s high-energy atmosphere and unmatched lake views to the relaxed California luxury of Northstar California to Kirkwood’s authentic, big-mountain terrain. After a great ski and snowboard season last year, skiers and snowboarders won’t want to miss out on another incredible winter season. Early storms have been promising for another normal winter and coupled with the most sophisticated snowmaking systems on the West Coast -- it always snows at the Best of Tahoe resorts.
 
2016-2017 Season Pass Options for Lake Tahoe Skiers and Snowboarders

• Tahoe Local™: The best way to access Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood seven days a week. It includes Saturday access at all three Lake Tahoe resorts with limited holiday restrictions, all for $569 for adults, $459 for teens and $289 for children. The Tahoe Local Pass also now includes five days of non-holiday skiing and snowboarding at Utah’s Park City, the largest ski resort in the U.S., and Colorado’s Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin. Pass holder tickets are available for purchase at a discounted rate during blackout dates at Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood. The Tahoe Local Pass pays for itself in just under three days.
•  Tahoe Value™: Ski or snowboard seven days a week at Heavenly and six days a week at Northstar and Kirkwood. The pass is available at $479 for adults, $389 for teens, $249 for children and $389 for seniors and pays for itself in just over three days. The Tahoe Value Pass has holiday restrictions at Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood with Saturdays excluded at Northstar and Kirkwood. Pass holders can purchase discounted lift tickets valid at Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood Resorts on restricted days.    
• Epic Pass™: The Epic Pass allows pass holders to ski as much as they want, whenever they want for $849 for adults and $439 for children. This pass pays for itself in just over four days of skiing or riding. With more than 32,000 acres of skiing and snowboarding terrain, this pass is the best in the ski industry. Unlimited, unrestricted access to Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Arapahoe Basin in Colorado, Park City in Utah, Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood at Lake Tahoe, Perisher in Australia for the 2017 winter season, Afton Alps in Minnesota, Mt. Brighton in Michigan and Wilmot Mountain just outside Chicago. Also, now with five free days at Whistler Blackcomb in 2016-2017 with holiday restrictions.  The Epic Pass grants limited access to Arlberg in Austria, Les 3 Vallées, Paradiski and Tignes-Val D’Isere in France, Skirama Dolomiti in Italy and 4 Vallées in Switzerland.
