Mt. Brighton Ski & Snowboard School Announces the Burton/Elan Snowboarding and Skiing Instructional Program
- Introduction to snowboarding or skiing with multi-week program includes complimentary snowboard or skis
BRIGHTON, Mich., – September 19, 2016 – Mt. Brighton and its acclaimed Ski and Snowboard School are stepping up with longtime ski and snowboard industry companies – Burton Snowboards and Elan Skis – to create a new and innovative approach to professional on-hill instructional efforts, familiarizing new and beginner skiers and snowboarders with equipment during the multi-week lesson schedule and allowing the guests to take that same equipment home with them at the program’s conclusion.
Known as the Mt. Brighton Ski and Snowboard School Free Gear Instructional Program, open to children age seven to adult, this proven method of teaching skiing and snowboarding will give Mt. Brighton’s guests that are new to the sport a definite edge over other beginner skiers and snowboarders. The four-week program includes a weekly, two-hour professional lesson, all-area lift tickets, rental equipment (including a skis or snowboard, boots and bindings, plus poles for skiers) and, best of all, guests get to take home the new Burton snowboard and bindings or Elan skis and bindings that they’re now familiar with.
“The Mt. Brighton Ski and Snowboard School has featured Burton Snowboards and Elan Skis, so often times we have our guest inquiring about purchasing the same equipment they’ve just learned on. Burton and Elan’s products are high-quality, very durable and reliable, which is paramount in our rental department,” said Mt. Brighton General Manager Chris Sorensen.
Added Mt. Brighton’s Tiffany Stewart, senior marketing manager, urban ski areas: “As Mt. Brighton’s guests begin what we’re sure will become a lifelong passion for skiing and snowboarding, we’re confident that we’re sending them home with the right pair of skis or snowboard. We know it can be intimidating to learn a new sport, so Mt. Brighton is thrilled to be able to introduce a program which covers what we believe are the two most important aspects – lessons from the professionals at our legendary ski and snowboard school, along with quality equipment that is theirs to keep.”
The cost of the program, including being able to take home the new Burton snowboard and bindings or Elan skis and bindings, is $349.
