June 29: Vail Valley Band
- The Vail Valley band is one of Colorado's best variety bands. With a repertoire that includes everything from pop, classic rock, country, jazz, originals and even Broadway show tunes, this versatile high energy band will have everyone up on their feet.
- Motherfolk started as Nathan Dickerson and Bobby Paver - the two college friends had both been writing songs, and when they brought them to each other, it became apparent that the themes lined up. Jacob Bremer and Rich Miller then joined the band, completing the roster needed to perform live. Motherfolk presents an upbeat musical fusion of indie rock and folk. Their charismatic stage presence and catchy vocal melodies draw the crowd in to feel the band’s raw emotion.
- The stunning, powerful and moving voice of blues, jazz, pop and Gospel returns to Beaver Creek. Miller rose to the top of the music scene in Louisville, Kentucky and has taken Colorado by storm with 5280 Magazine readers making her their choice for Best Band in 2010.
- Denver native Rob Drabkin’s powerful vocals and beautiful guitar work make for a relaxed rock performance. The music of Rob Drabkin is spirited in nature, light from the heart and rocking on the six-string acoustic. Original compositions such as Stay (The Morning Light Fades) are serenading, soft and melodic.
- “Jazz Group of the Year” nominee Tizer Trio will make their anticipated return appearance to Beaver Creek. The acclaimed world, jazz, fusion powerhouse group features an all-star lineup of musicians. Led by Boulder native pianist, keyboardist, composer and former “Best New Jazz Artist” nominee, Lao Tizer, the trio also features bass legend and 3x Grammy nominee, Ric Fierabracci and Chicago born drum phenom, Gene Coye.
- Coral Creek dabbles in a diverse catalog of original music spanning the genres of rock, country/bluegrass, cajun, folk and island music. The band’s live performances transport audiences from the beaches of the Caribbean, down to the bayou and back up high into the Colorado Rockies – with instrumentation ranging from mandolin and fiddle to congas and steel pan.
- Serving in the US Navy as an air traffic controller, singer/songwriter Dave Munro sent home demos written during deployment. The Boston-based group delivers fresh, upbeat indie alternative, performing at the 2015 Billboard Hot 100 Fest and earning them a spot on the NPR Hot 100 List for SXSW.
