BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. — March 24, 2016 – Today marks the one month countdown to Breckenridge Ski Resort’s closing day, but it’s the FEET of snow skiers and riders are contemplating right now.  Get this – Breckenridge has received nearly 6 feet of snow this March – and totals are expected to exceed that milestone quickly with another foot of snow in the forecast by Saturday.

Ticket Prices and Discounts for Closing Week, April 18-24, 2016.
It’s easy as ever to enjoy the fresh snow and exceptional spring skiing conditions Breck is known for with discounted ticket prices and lessons, live music and more for the final week of Spring Fever, April 18-24 (closing day).  Closing week at Breckenridge will offer approx. 1000 acres of skiing on Peak 8, conditions permitting.  Ticket prices are as follows:
  • Single-day ticket: $75
  • Advanced Rate, single-day ticket: $65 (7 days in advance)
  • Single-day ticket for pass holders from other resorts: $54 (must present pass at a  Breck ticket office)
  • Epic Pass Buddy and Ski with a Friend Passes: $49
Adult group lessons, children group lessons and private lessons will be available for a discount in the final week of the season. Please call 1-888-LRN-2SKI to get detailed information and book now! Spring Fever Line Up
The full Spring Fever schedule features the BudLight Concert Series throughout April. All concerts are FREE to the public and take place on a specially-constructed stage on the snow facing One Ski Hill Place, a RockResort, at the base of Peak 8 at 2 p.m. on each concert date. Other events include Easter family festivities this weekend, the Spring Fever Beer Festival and competitions in Breck’s award winning Freeway and Park Lane terrain parks. Breck Spring Fever 2016 Signature Events include:
  • March 27 Easter On-Mountain, Sunrise Service - At 6:00 a.m. on Easter Sunday, load the Quicksilver SuperChair (base of Peak 9) up to a special location for this free sunrise service. No lift ticket is required; ski equipment will not be allowed up the chair. Dress warmly for the chairlift ride and be a part of this service. Coffee, juice and breakfast burritos will be available for purchase before the service at Ten Mile Station; the service should last approx. 45 minutes.
  • March 27 – Easter Egg Hunt - The Easter Bunny has hidden eggs on Peaks 8 and 9, just in time for our Easter celebration! Join us for an amazing morning of egg-hunting before getting your ski day started. A protected area will be open and monitored for the children to hunt for eggs.  Get additional details here.
  • April 1, 8, 15 Spring Fever Park Jam – Join the Breck Park Crew Friday afternoons during Spring Fever, where they’ll be running Spring Fever Park Jams in Freeway and Park Lane. Win GoPros, season passes and other prizes during jam-style contests from noon to 3 p.m.
  • April 2 Mountain Dew Spring Open – Park Lane becomes center stage during this exhilarating competition at Park Lane on Peak 8. More details to come.
  • April 3 Spring Fever Breck Chili Cook-off – Sevens restaurant will host its annual chili cook-off at noon when top chefs from Breckenridge Ski Resort and Breck Hospitality face off against each other to see whose chili recipe is the best.
  • April 9 BudLight Concert Series, featuring Michael Franti & Spearhead - Michael Franti combines his love of R&B, hip-hop, reggae and poetry into a unique blend of music that inspires both the soul and mind. Franti is a charismatic performer and lead vocalist who connects seamlessly with his audience during his live performances. The FREE concert begins at 2 p.m. at the base of Peak 8.
  • April 9 Breckenridge Spring Fever Beer Festival – Sample beers from more than 35 breweries in downtown Breck on Ridge Street. Beginning at noon, this event features delicious food and free music.
  • April 16 Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real - Lukas Nelson first picked up a guitar at the age of 11 and practiced his craft by playing along to classic Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jimi Hendrix songs. The son of music legend Willie Nelson, Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real electrify fans year-round with performances across the country, while also backing for the Neil Young band. The FREE concert begins at 2 p.m. at the base of Peak 8.
  • April 17 Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue - New Orleans native Trombone Shorty is the bandleader and frontman in the hard-edged funk band, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue. He began playing professionally at the age of five, and now Trombone Shorty and his band tour internationally with their unique style that employs rock dynamics, a hip-hop beat and improvisation in a jazz tradition. The group’s musical talents are best showcased during live performance, where NOLA jazz heritage is paired with modern funk to delight fans everywhere. The FREE concert begins at 2 p.m. at the base of Peak 8.
  • April 23 – Live music from Blue Monkey 22, Breckenridge Ski Patrol’s Jam Band - After spending their days throwing bombs and keeping Breckenridge safe as proud members of the Breck Ski Patrol, these guys get serious about playing music.  BM22 is a ski-town band that has been playing the Breckenridge bar circuit for the last year.  Their focus is to infuse their own style of blues and jam rock into the songs they play, drawing influence from musical acts such as Eric Clapton, The Grateful Dead, The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones. See them live on the One Ski Hill Place Plaza from 2-5 p.m.
  • April 24 Closing Day Cowboy BBQ – Close out the season right with a traditional beef BBQ on the patio at One Ski Hill Place at the Peak 8 base area.  The party includes music and a mechanical bull.
