Breck Spring Fever Begins March 18, 2016
Breckenridge, Colo. – Feb. 19, 2016 – Breckenridge Ski Resort is set for the biggest spring ski party in the Rocky Mountain region, Breck Spring Fever. The month-long festival begins Friday, March 18 with the GoPro Big Mountain Challenge on Breck’s famed Peak 6.

Go Big Pro Mountain Challenge – Come watch the action at Peak 6 at 10 a.m. both days and see some of the best big mountain free riders in the country as they compete in this youth freestyle event and score points in the IFSA series.
March 27
Sunrise On-Mountain Easter Service and Easter Egg Hunt on the Mountain – Experience one of the most beautiful settings for an Easter service at a special location. Load the Quicksilver lift on Peak 9 at 6 a.m. for this complimentary service and dress warmly. Afterward, head to Peak 8 and 9 for a lively Easter egg hunt.

Spring Fever Park Jam – Join the Breck Park Crew Friday afternoons during Spring Fever, where they’ll be running Spring Fever Park Jams in Freeway and Park Lane. Win GoPros, season passes and other prizes during jam-style contests from noon to 3 p.m.

Mountain Dew Park Competition – Park Lance becomes center stage during this exhilarating competition at Park Lane on Peak 8. More details to come soon.

Spring Fever Breck Chili Cook-off –Sevens restaurant will host its annual chili cook-off at noon when top chefs from Breckenridge Ski Resort and Breck Hospitality face off against each other to see whose chili recipe is the best.
April 9
Breckenridge Spring Fever Beer Festival – Sample beers from more than 35 breweries in downtown Breck on Ridge Street. Beginning at noon, this event features delicious food and free music.
April 13
Breck Ascent Series Final Race – Don’t miss the final race of the Breck Ascent Series at 5:30 p.m. on Peak 7; an after party will follow! Cost: $22 same day registration/$20 pre-registration. Call (970) 453-1734 for registration and details.

The Imperial Challenge – This distinctive, pseudo-triathlon is entering its 25th year of travelling to, ascending and descending the mountain.
