Keystone, Colo. — Feb. 3, 2016 — Four years after introducing the industry-leading Kids Ski Free offer at Keystone Resort, the program has officially surpassed 100,000 free kids lift tickets provided to-date. To celebrate the milestone, Keystone hosted a week-long Golden Ticket celebration complete with chocolate bars, chocolate tours, family activities and events, and of course golden tickets. But the celebrating doesn’t have to end there because families can continue to take advantage of Keystone’s Kids Ski Free every day for the remainder of the season.
Since 2012, the Kids Ski Free program has focused on simplicity with an offer available to families every day throughout the season with no blackout dates or hoops to jump through. All guests need to do to qualify is stay two or more nights in one of Keystone’s numerous accommodation options and all kids 12 and younger ski for free.
With more than more than 15 feet of snow this season – the snowiest beginning to a season at Keystone since 2010-2011 – time remains to continue taking advantage of an ultimate family adventure at Keystone, including current lodging savings of up to 30 percent. Additionally, any guest booking any length of stay through Keystone Resort will receive free night skiing on day of arrival (during normal night skiing operations), free ice skating admission and 20 percent discount on skate rentals, a free yoga or fitness class and a free hour of tennis court access.
In addition to enjoying the more than 3,000 skiable acres of terrain, family ski trails and the longest ski day in Colorado, families can take advantage of a variety of experiences to enhance any visit to the resort, including free daily Kidtopia programming, unique dining options, a host of winter activities such as mountaintop tubing and sleigh ride dinners, and Ski & Ride School offerings including Family Private Lessons.
Kidtopia Experience Weekend
From Feb. 19-21, Keystone presents the inaugural Kidtopia Experience, a weekend of family-friendly fun featuring free entertainment, including a free outdoor concert from Grammy Award-winning band, The Okee Dokee Brothers. Throughout the weekend families can enjoy time spent together on the snow and a variety of free events and activities as a part of the Kidtopia Experience.
Keystone’s Kidtopia: Unmatched Family Programming
Keystone continues to redefine the family resort experience with daily Kidtopia activities that complement any visit to the resort. Kids of all ages, including those young at heart, can enjoy a variety of daily programming throughout the winter season, including the popular Saturday parade and fireworks. With the majority of Kidtopia events free of charge for all participants, creative daily programming is just another way Keystone continues to add value to the family mountain experience. 2015-2016 Kidtopia winter schedule.
