Keystone to Host Kids Ski Free 100K Golden Ticket Celebration Jan. 24-30

Keystone, Colo. — Dec. 3, 2015 — Keystone Resort, the premier family ski resort, has long been the place where kids rule, and this year the proof is in the pudding as the resort’s industry-leading Kids Ski Free program is poised to reach 100,000 free kids lift tickets provided since its inception in 2012. To honor the milestone this winter, Keystone will host a week-long Kids Ski Free 100K Golden Ticket Celebration from Jan. 24-30, offering guests the chance to win one of 10 golden tickets valued at $500 each. The celebration will also highlight Keystone’s unique family programming like the signature parade and fireworks, as well as special experiences including a Chocolate Tour with the resort’s famous executive pastry chef, Ned Archibald.

Every family taking advantage of Keystone’s Kids Ski Free Program Jan. 24-30 will receive a chocolate bar upon check-in, and 10 lucky guests will receive a limited edition golden ticket chocolate bar handmade by the resort’s one-of-a-kind Chef Ned. The winning golden tickets will be valid towards Keystone activities, Ski & Ride School, signature dining experiences, or owned and operated retail outlets like Keystone Sports.
In addition, Keystone will be handing out surprise golden ticket chocolate bars, valid for $50 resort credit, to lucky guests at random throughout the week.
While Kids Ski Free the entire season at Keystone, the Kids Ski Free 100K Golden Ticket Celebration and chocolate bars will only be available from Jan. 24-30.
Behind-the-Scenes Chocolate Tours with Keystone’s Master Chocolatier
For the week of Jan. 24-30 only, kids can participate in a unique, behind-the-scenes Chocolate Tour experience with Chef Ned, Keystone’s famous executive pastry chef and master chocolatier. The Chocolate Tour experiences will be offered on Tuesday, Jan. 26 and Friday, Jan. 29 at 10 a.m. and will provide kids a behind-the-scenes look into Chef Ned’s fun world of desserts, including a tour of his pastry shop, a chocolate making experience and a delicious take-away for each participant. The Chocolate Tours are free, but guests will be able to register online at Keystoneresort.com/GoldenTicket.
In addition to special events, free daily Kidtopia programming will continue to take place throughout the week including family game nights and activities, plus the popular Saturday Ripperoo parade and Kidtopia Fireworks, and more.
Kids Ski Free
Now in its fourth season, Keystone’s Kids Ski Free program provides kids 12 and younger the opportunity to ski for free at the resort with no blackout dates. Easy on the wallet and easy on the rules, Kids Ski Free is available every day for the duration of the winter season, including weekends and holidays. All guests need to do to qualify is stay two or more nights in one of Keystone’s numerous accommodation options, which span from luxury hotel rooms to cozy ski-in, ski-out condominiums.
