Peak 7 and the Independence SuperChair will open for the season on Friday, Dec. 4, with access to six trails on 74 acres, along with all base area services. Let it Snow!
The snow continues to fall at a steady pace in Breck, which has received nearly a foot of new snow in the past week, half that coming in the past 48 hours. Season-to-date, Breck has received more than five and a half feet of snow, 137 percent of average. Watch Breckenridge’s live snow stake cam to see the snow pile up throughout the season or visit Breckenridge.com for the latest terrain updates, snow reports and more.
Breckenridge Ski Resort requires all skiers and riders to observe all posted signs and warnings. Closed trails may contain hazards due to limited natural snow coverage and snowmaking operations. Please keep off closed trails and out of closed areas for safety reasons.
The Lighting of Breckenridge
The first weekend in December, the Town of Breckenridge “officially” transforms into the holiday scene for which it’s famous on Dec. 5 with the Lighting of Breckenridge and Race of the Santas, when runners and walkers don Santa suits to benefit Adopt an Angel. Stop by the Handmade Holiday Market Dec. 4-6 in the Breckenridge Arts District for hand-crafted gifts made by local artisans. Events continue all month with the Fat Bike Open, the Winter Dew Tour, BreckCreate holiday art workshops, New Year’s Eve parties, and more. Learn more at GoBreck.com
