Dew Tour Announces Confirmed Athletes For Breckenridge, Colorado Event
- Eight Snowboard and Freeski Olympic Gold Medalists to Compete

Burr Ridge, Ill. – November 20, 2015 – The Dew Tour will return to Breckenridge Ski Resort, in Breckenridge, Colo., December 10-13, for a four-day event featuring many of the world’s best international snowboard and freeski athletes. NBC will present six hours of Dew Tour Breckenridge coverage, while NBC Sports Live Extra and DewTour.com will stream more than 25 hours of live competitions.
The confirmed roster for this year’s winter event features eight superpipe and slopestyle Olympic gold medalists, as well as many other top winter action sports athletes. Athletes competing at Dew Tour Breckenridge include Danny Davis (USA) and Iouri Podladtchikov (SUI) in snowboard superpipe, Mark McMorris (CAN) and Jamie Anderson (USA) in snowboard slopestyle, Joss Christensen (USA) and Gus Kenworthy (USA) in Toyota freeski slopestyle, and David Wise (USA) and Torin Yater-Wallace (USA) in freeski superpipe.
SNOWBOARD
In the men’s snowboard superpipe competition, 2014 Winter Olympic gold medalist Iouri Podladtchikov will face a collection of talent vying to top the podium, including rising star Ayumu Hirano (JPN) and snowboarding icon Danny Davis. In the women’s snowboard superpipe contest, the field will feature two Olympic gold medalists, Kelly Clark (USA) and Hannah Teter (USA), as well as 15 year old sensation Chloe Kim (USA). The men’s snowboard slopestyle competition will feature Sochi Olympic bronze medalist Mark McMorris and defending Dew Tour Champion Chas Guldemond (USA), while the women’s competition will include Olympic gold medalist Jamie Anderson.
FREESKI
After making its Winter Olympic debut at the 2014 Sochi Games, the sport of freeskiing will see top international contenders once again take the stage at Dew Tour Breckenridge. In the men’s freeski superpipe contest, Olympic gold medalist David Wise and fellow American Torin Yater-Wallace will face international competition from athletes such as Olympic bronze medalist Kevin Rolland (FRA). In addition, the men’s Toyota freeski slopestyle competition will feature several notable American athletes, including Olympic gold medalist Joss Christensen, silver medalist Gus Kenworthy, and Breckenridge local Bobby Brown. In the women’s Toyota freeski slopestyle contest, Olympic gold medalist Dara Howell (CAN) and silver medalist Devin Logan (USA) will be competing. Logan will be pulling double duty, as she also plans to compete in women’s freeski superpipe against Olympic gold medalist Maddie Bowman (USA).
