BROOMFIELD, Colo. – Nov. 16, 2015 – Vail Resorts’ Epic Pass products, specifically the Epic Local Pass and Keystone A-Basin Pass, offer Colorado skiers and riders the ultimate ticket to winter powder. With the best season pass options and value in the ski industry, Epic Pass products offer skiers and riders the flexibility to choose the product that best fits their needs, and unlimited access to the most iconic resorts in the state and the country. Epic Pass products are only available through Sunday, Nov. 22, so skiers and riders need to act now to get in on all the action in Colorado this winter.

“At just $319, the Keystone A-Basin Pass is the absolute best deal on unlimited skiing and snowboarding in Colorado, and the Epic Local Pass provides access to Colorado’s best five resorts for just $619,” said Kirsten Lynch, chief marketing officer of Vail Resorts. “There really is no way to compete with the value, convenience and access these passes provide, especially for Coloradoans who want to get in as much skiing and riding as possible this winter right in their backyard.”

The Keystone A-Basin pass offers unlimited access to Keystone and Arapahoe Basin with limited holiday restrictions. The Epic Local pass provides unlimited, unrestricted skiing or riding at Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin with limited restrictions at Park City, Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood. Colorado skiers and snowboarders commented on the value, access and convenience of the Keystone A-Basin Pass and the Epic Local Pass.

Value. Vail Resorts’ Epic Pass products are hands-down the best deal in the ski industry. Unlimited skiing and riding in Colorado starts at just $319 with the Keystone A-Basin pass and for more variety guests can choose the Epic Local pass, which at $619 pays for itself in just four days.

“I get two mountains for less than one mountain pass,” said David Cool, a skier from Longmont referring to the Keystone A-Basin Pass. “Mostly I really like both mountains. Keystone is big and Arapahoe Basin is open early and late in the season. One of the best things is that there is free parking at both and the two best mountains are closest to the Front Range.”

“The Epic Local pass is a big reason I moved to Colorado,” said Ben Cook, a skier living in Golden. “Having some of the top resorts in the world in your backyard is unbeatable. It is an amazing value. I can't picture a better way to spend the winter.”

Access. Why purchase a pass that requires you to travel all over the country to utilize its benefits? The Keystone A-Basin Pass and Epic Local Pass provide guests with access to up to five resorts in Colorado, all located within an hour of each other.

“The access and flexibility of the Epic Local Pass is the best thing in my book,” said Matthew Cowan, a skier living in Boulder, Colo. “For a quick afternoon I can head up to Keystone or A-Basin, or for a weekend I’ll head up to Vail or Beaver Creek.”

Convenience. Guests can easily purchase or renew their Epic Pass online. Once they have a pass in hand, they never have to step foot in the ticket office again and can head straight to the lifts every time.

“Once I get there it’s just swipe and ski and I’m on the mountain making the most of my time,” said Cowan.

Epic. What does an Epic winter in Colorado look like? How about 300 days of sunshine, and champagne Colorado powder on a bluebird day. Seven legendary Back Bowls, an unmatched number of investments on the mountain, and an energetic resort village at Vail. Meticulous attention to detail and guest service at Beaver Creek, World Cup terrain and warm chocolate chip cookies served daily. Big snow, a historic mining town and gondola access from the streets to the slopes in Breckenridge. Incredible value and programming for the whole family at Keystone, plus free events throughout the winter at Kidtopia, including the world’s largest snow fort. And, one of the longest ski seasons in the country with access to A-Basin.

Options. With a variety of pass options available, guests will find that there is a pass product available for every type of skier and rider, whether they’re a weekend warrior or they’re chasing powder all season long.
