This New Year’s Eve at Vail Mountain, one of the largest and leading ski resorts in the world, the ultimate mountaintop nightclub experience, Décimo, debuts for the 2014-2015 winter season with DJ entertainment from the EC Twins. Ring in the New Year on a dance floor located at 10,250 feet above sea-level with world-class entertainment, VIP tables and bottle service, and exceptional guest service on Wednesday, Dec. 31.
“Following the incredible success of Décimo’s debut at Vail last year, we knew it would be critical to secure the best entertainment for this year’s events in order to continue to build upon the momentum from last year and appeal to our guests from around the world,” said Chris Jarnot, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Vail Mountain. “We’re thrilled to announce the EC Twins for Décimo’s debut on New Year’s Eve this season and we’re looking forward to making this event even bigger and better than ever.”
Born and raised in the musically historic city of Manchester, England, the EC Twins began their career in the house music scene in Edinburgh, Scotland at age 16. Today the Twins are credited as two of the most influential figures in EDM (electronic dance music). Known for their uniquely infectious, high-energy live shows, the Twins hold residences in every major city around the country and have performed at many international festivals and iconic venues across the globe. Now they will add Vail Mountain’s Décimo to the list on New Year’s Eve.
Décimo blends exceptional service and renowned entertainment with the excitement of a world-class nightspot set amongst the iconic backdrop of Vail Mountain. Each unique event begins at the base of Gondola One in Vail Village. From there, guests are carried to mid-mountain in the gondola’s state-of-the-art cabins, complete with heated seats and Wi-Fi access. Just steps away from the top of the gondola, guests will enter a space that has undergone a carefully orchestrated transformation into the chic, dynamic nightspot that is Décimo.
