An Epic Ski and Snowboard Vacation Awaits with Unlimited, Unrestricted Epic Pass, Offering Access to Vail Resorts’ World-Class Mountains

BROOMFIELD, Colo. – Oct. 5, 2015 – Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015 marks the final day to take advantage of the current price for the Epic Pass, the ski industry’s most valuable and popular pass. The Epic Pass offers access to more than 32,000 acres of skiing and snowboarding terrain; unlimited, unrestricted access to the top U.S. resorts – including Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin in Colorado; Park City in Utah; and Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood at Lake Tahoe. Visitors can anticipate many new experiences this season across Vail Resorts’ portfolio of world-class mountain resorts as the Company has invested approximately $110 million in improvements – such as combining Park City and Canyons Resort to create the largest ski resort in the United States; new express lifts and on-mountain restaurants at Park City and Vail; additional luxury amenities and lodging enhancements at Park City, Beaver Creek and Keystone; as well as expansions to state-of-the-art snowmaking systems in Park City, Beaver Creek and Breckenridge.

The Epic Pass offers guests access to unrestricted, unlimited skiing for the 2015-16 winter season to the premier ski resorts in the U.S. Available for just $789 for adults and $409 for children (ages five to 12), pass holders gain unlimited, unrestricted access to more than 32,000 acres at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin in Colorado; Park City in Utah; Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood at Lake Tahoe; Perisher in Australia for the 2016 season there; Afton Alps in Minnesota; Mt. Brighton in Michigan; and up to five free consecutive days when staying at in-resort accommodations at Verbier, Switzerland.

Ski and snowboard lessons and guided tours allow guests of all ability levels to define their own experience of a lifetime on the slopes – including luxury private lessons and guided tours such as Vail Mountain’s and Beaver Creek’s famed Women’s Ultimate 4 and private lessons, Breckenridge’s Women’s Ski Week, and Park City’s acclaimed 5-Day Ski College. ·         Epic Local Pass™: Perfect for people who can navigate a pass with restrictions. For $599, get unlimited, unrestricted skiing and riding at Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin, as well as Afton Alps and Mt. Brighton, with limited restrictions at Park City, Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood. It also includes a total of 10 days at Vail and Beaver Creek with holiday restrictions. The Epic Local Pass pays for itself in less than four days. A child pass (ages five to 12) is $309.
 
·         Epic 7-Day™: This pass is great for guests who don’t plan to ski more than seven days next winter. The pass features seven unrestricted days of skiing and riding at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, or Arapahoe Basin in Colorado; Park City in Utah; or Heavenly, Northstar or Kirkwood in Tahoe. The Epic 7-day is $599 for adults and $309 for children (ages five to 12). In addition, pass holders will receive a total of seven free days of skiing and riding at Afton Alps and Mt. Brighton. The Epic 7-Day pays for itself in under four days of skiing and riding and provides more than 45 percent savings compared to lift tickets purchased at the ticket window next season.
 
·         The Epic 4-Day™: Is optimal for guests planning one ski vacation during the 2015-16 winter season. $419 for adults and $229 for children (ages five to 12). Ski any four days at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Park City, Heavenly, Northstar or Kirkwood, plus a total of four days at Afton Alps and Mt. Brighton. This pass pays for itself in just over two days and offers a savings of over 35 percent compared to lift tickets. For a little more than $1,200 a family of four can ski four days at the best ski resorts in the U.S.   

Season Pass Insurance
Vail Resorts encourages guests to purchase pass insurance. All of the Company's season pass products are non-refundable and non-transferable; however, pass insurance covers pass holders in the event of unexpected circumstances including sickness, injury and job loss. Coverage applies for all season passes and is valid for the 2015-16 winter season. Season pass insurance starts at just $10 for adults and $5 for children.
