9th Annual Beaver Creek Wine & Spirits Festival Returns Aug. 7-9
Beaver Creek, Colo., July 30, 2015 — The much anticipated wine, spirit and culinary event of the summer, the 9th Annual Beaver Creek Wine & Spirits Festival presented by Wine Spectator Magazine, returns Aug. 7, 8 and 9 in beautiful Beaver Creek, Colorado. This unique event incorporates the intimate location in which it’s set with events like Friday’s Manhattans & Margaritas sippings on the deck of Park Hyatt at the base of the mountain, Saturday’s Walk & Wine, where a guided hike leads to a gourmet farm-to-table lunch in Creekside Park and Sunday’s Dash & Dine with a 5K run and brunch bites in the park with gorgeous, green mountain views.
Each event has a specialized theme and a location that pairs perfectly. The Wine & Tapas Social on Friday, Aug. 7 at The Metropolitan encourages friends and family to taste a variety of tapas dishes paired with wines from their extensive collection. The Walk & Wine event on Saturday boasts a memorable hike on Beaver Creek Mountain through Aspen groves and meadows of wildflowers all above Beaver Creek Village guided by experts from Beaver Creek’s Hiking Center and eventually leading to a place setting in Creekside Park for a chef-lead food and wine pairing featuring Grouse Mountain Grill’s executive chef, David Gutowski. The main event, Saturday’s Walk Around Grand Tasting, is a culmination of the weekend’s highlighted dishes and drinks with mouth-watering samples, music and drink. The Beaver Creek Wine & Spirits Festival hosts 10 events in total expanding over three days. Tickets can be purchased online at BeaverCreek.com/wine and some events are already sold out.
