New Summer Tubing Activity Now Open at Vail Mountain’s Adventure Ridge
- Summer tubing will eventually be incorporated into Vail’s comprehensive summer activities experience, Epic Discovery, when it debuts in summer 2016.
High atop Vail Mountain at Adventure Ridge, grab a tube and hop a ride on Vail’s newest activity, summer tubing. The exciting new activity is now open for guests this summer and will eventually be incorporated into Epic Discovery, Vail’s comprehensive summer activities plan, when it debuts in summer 2016.
A new take on the mountain tubing adventure, summer tubing provides guests the opportunity to feel the thrill of the mountain just like winter tubing on snow. Guests ages 8 and older and at least 42” tall can enjoy three lanes of downhill thrills on this new Adventure Ridge activity. Attached shoes are required for all participants.
Additional summer activities open at Adventure Ridge include the Zip Flyer, challenge courses, kids zip line and challenge course, Top of the Mountain Tours, disc golf, climbing wall, and bungee trampolines. At the base of Lionshead, Vail’s Gore Creek Mini Golf course offers putting fun for all ages.
