SpringFest Continues Spring Magic in Beaver Creek Village through April 11 with Easter Celebrations
Beaver Creek, Colo. April 3, 2015 — Beaver Creek’s annual salute to the spring season, SpringFest, runs daily through Saturday, April 11 in Beaver Creek Village combining music, magic, entertainment and fun for the whole family. Spring’s sunny skies and longer lit days are paired with kid and teen events for visitors to enjoy. Easter events offered this weekend are the 23rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4 and sunrise interdenominational service on Sunday, April 5.
 
SpringFest celebrations for the week of April 4 through April 11 include Saturday’s SpringFest Kids’ parades at 4 p.m. and FunFest Carnivals from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Sunday’s Kids’ Creation Station Tent with arts & crafts supplies from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday’s Spring Into Science activities from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Tuesday’s SpringFest DJ Skate Night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday’s Drums of the Mountains from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday’s Family Kick Ball Game from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday’s live performances on the SpringFest stage at 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. in the heart of Beaver Creek Village. The 23rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt takes place this Saturday, April 4 at 10:30 a.m. in Beaver Creek’s Creekside Park with 5,000 eggs up for collecting. The Easter Bunny will make a special appearance and there will be another opportunity for photos with the Easter Bunny from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. that afternoon in Beaver Creek Village. Parents should bring a camera and an Easter basket, or use one of the bags provided. Kids 12 and under can take part in the Easter Egg Hunt in waves according to age group.
 
On Sunday, April 5, Beaver Creek’s traditional Easter sunrise interdenominational service will begin at 6 a.m. at Spruce Saddle Lodge on the mountain. The Centennial Express Lift (chair #6) will open at 5:15 a.m. to transport guests to Spruce Saddle in the gondolas only. The gondola ride is complimentary and guests will not be permitted to bring skis or snowboards to the sunrise service. Downloading in the gondolas will be available immediately following the service. Free parking will be available for sunrise service guests until 8:30 a.m. in Beaver Creek Village.
