Keystone is Perfect Destination for Coloradoans to Enjoy Spring Sun and Snow
Take Advantage Now of Keystone’s Offerings Before Season Ends

Keystone, Colo. — Feb. 23, 2015 — Spring skiing and riding season is nearly upon us, bringing with it the soft snow, extended daylight and warmer temperatures that are signature marks to the end of the season. Keystone has received more than two-feet of snow in February and with just seven weeks remaining of Keystone’s 2014-15 season, now is the time to enjoy the slopes. Spring snow storms, discounted lodging, free events and twilight runs are some of the many reasons to visit Keystone before closing day.

Avoid I-70 traffic by taking advantage of lodging offers, including savings of up to 50 percent off from March 19-27 and lower price points on all Sunday night stays. Now is the time to book upcoming visits, including stays during Spring Break, in order to guarantee the best available rates and accommodation options. Additionally, season pass holders can access exclusive lodging offers by contacting Keystone’s reservations department at (970) 496-4500 and providing their season pass number.

All lodging stays of two nights or more include Keystone’s industry-leading Kids Ski Free offer for children 12 and younger. Keystone’s Kids Ski Free program contains no red tape, fine print, or blackout dates and is available daily, including weekends and holidays.

Stay longer, drive later. From late check-outs to night skiing to après, Keystone provides ample opportunity to enjoy more of the mountains and less of the road. Beginning March 4, Keystone will remain open until 8 p.m., with access from both the River Run Gondola and the Peru Express lift. These daily night skiing operations provide 11.5-hours of skiing and riding, all accessed on one ticket, with the opportunity for spectacular sunset turns and under-the-stars fun.

Keystone’s many events and activities make enjoying a weekend in the mountains the perfect escape from the city. On Saturday’s, enjoy the evening with a 4 p.m. Ripperoo Village parade, dinner at one of the many dining options, and then a 7 p.m. firework show. Evening ice skating under the moonlight is a romantic date or fun for the whole family, and Keystone’s mountaintop tubing hill also provides extended evening hours.

Stay the evening and enjoy a Keystone Sunday Funday. Begin the morning with a Family Pajama Brunch at the Bighorn Bistro & Bar, where children will enjoy games, entertainment and a fun atmosphere with free supervision provided, while next door adults will enjoy a classic brunch including mimosas and a bloody mary bar. Or, parents can bring their kids to Ski & Ride School or Keystone Daycare and enjoy the ambiance of the Alpenglow Stube’s Signature Champagne Brunch at the highest AAA Four-Diamond dining experience in North America.

Keystone’s proximity to Denver, 3,148 skiable acres of terrain, discounted lodging, free daily activities, and tons of on- and off-snow activities all combine to provide the ideal location for a convenient getaway. Coloradoans can take advantage of all that Keystone has to offer before the 2014-15 season comes to a close on Sunday, April 12.

As one of the closest ski resorts to Denver, Keystone is the ultimate location for families to enjoy the allure of the mountains; be it on skis, snowboards, ice skates, snow tubes or horse-drawn sleigh rides.
