New Restaurant Opens at Canyons Resort
Cloud Dine Open for 2014-15 Season
Park City, UT (December 30, 2014) – After a summer of construction and anticipation, Cloud Dine, Canyons’ new restaurant atop Dream Peak, is now officially open for the 2014-15 season. The completely restructured building, which was introduced to Canyons in 2011, features increased seating capacity of 41 percent, tallying 316 seats and an expanded outdoor deck. The cafeteria style restaurant is located on Dream Peak, at the top of the DreamCatcher and Dreamscape lifts.
“The new Cloud Dine is a fantastic upgrade to our on-mountain dining options,” said Mike Goar, vice president and general manager of Canyons Resort. “The new building increases seating capacity and flow at one of our most popular destinations on-mountain, and guests are sure to enjoy new menu items created by Executive Chef Alex Malmborg and Chef Greg Hansen.”
While the popular menu concept of fresh, made-to-order items will stay, guests can try new dining options such as a Kobe beef hot dog wrapped in a homemade pretzel, smoked salmon pot pie and homemade donuts and bagels in the morning. Other menu items include made to order hearty salads, flatbread pizzas cooked in the wood-fired pizza oven and soups and sandwiches.
Thanks to over four feet of new snow in the last 10 days at Canyons, Cloud Dine is the perfect location for hungry skiers and riders enjoying the trails off of Dream Peak. . A variety of terrain under DreamCatcher and Dreamscape lifts, including groomed blue trails and iconic glade skiing off piste, allows for all levels of ability to experience the new restaurant. Cloud Dine is open daily from 9:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
