Headwaters Lodge & Cabins at Flagg Ranch Announces Winter Season Opening for the First Time in More Than a Decade
MORAN, Wyo. (December 18, 2014) – Today, Headwaters Lodge & Cabins at Flagg Ranch opens its doors this winter for the first time in more than a decade. As the gateway to Yellowstone during the winter season, the property is ideal for a national park vacation with countless options for adventure. Located just 50 miles from Jackson Hole and right at the South Entrance to Yellowstone, Headwaters Lodge & Cabins is positioned perfectly for Nordic opportunities, including cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The property’s guest cabins will be open Dec. 18 through March 15, 2015.

“We’re excited to welcome travelers making their way into Yellowstone this winter,” said Headwaters General Manager Logan Steffens. “Whether you’re coming for a snowcoach tour or for an adventurous snowmobiling trip, Headwaters Lodge & Cabins will give guests the opportunity to explore nature’s most pristine scenery.”

Having recently completed a renovation, Headwaters provides updated accommodations, a retail shop and convenience store, along with Sheffield’s Restaurant and Bar – all of which are open throughout winter offering guests a reprieve after a long day in Yellowstone.

Surrounded by iconic trails and thermal areas, like Pole Cat and Huckleberry Hot Springs, the property boasts an authentic setting for unplugged travel. Snowmobiling and snowcoach package tours for the ultimate adventure traveler are available through a partnership with Scenic Safaris, the primary operator of winter tours from Yellowstone’s south entrance.

A true Western experience with epic views, mountains, valleys, and rivers dotting the John D. Rockefeller. Jr. Memorial Parkway, Headwaters Lodge & Cabins offers the perfect setting after a long day in the great outdoors this winter.
