Operating Hours Extended on Vail Mountain Beginning Friday, Dec. 19
VAIL, Colo. – Dec. 15, 2014 – Vail Mountain, one of the largest ski resorts in the world, will move to its winter morning operating schedule beginning Friday, Dec. 19.  With the shift in operating hours, the majority of front side lifts will open at 8:30 a.m. and close at 3:30 p.m. The Back Bowls and Game Creek as well as Blue Sky Basin will open as soon as lifts and terrain are ready. The Back Bowls and Game Creek will continue to close at 3 p.m.; Blue Sky Basin will close at 2:30 p.m. Lift operating hours are posted at the base of all open lifts and are subject to change with conditions.
 
All ticket office and Vail Ski & Snowboard School locations in Vail will continue to be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Guests are now also guaranteed the lowest price, and best availability, when booking ski and snowboard lessons online, at least 48 hours in advance with the Vail Ski & Snowboard School. Specialty lesson products and offerings this season include 2015 World Championship lesson experiences, a new Women’s Ultimate 4 lesson, and the return of the popular Ski Girls Rock program.
