Beaver Creek Set to Open Additional Terrain this Week Including Grouse Mountain and Larkspur Bowl
Beaver Creek, Colo., Dec. 15, 2014 –The weekend winter storm in the Rockies brought 17 inches of new snow to Beaver Creek Resort. The mountain is set to open the majority of Grouse Mountain tomorrow and Larkspur Bowl on Wednesday bringing the resort acreage to 1,181 acres of terrain by Wednesday, accessed by 20 lifts.
On Tuesday, Grouse Mountain and the Grouse Mountain Express lift (#10) will open for the season as will trails Red Tail, Goshawk, lower Peregrine and lower Kestrel. Talons Restaurant will open for the season tomorrow featuring its European-inspired menu serving breakfast, lunch and après.
On Wednesday, Larkspur Bowl and the Larkspur Express Lift (#11) will open for the season and Beaver Creek Expressway trail will be open offering access from the top of the Strawberry Park Express Lift (#12).
