Beaver Creek Opens Four Additional Lifts on Saturday, Dec. 6
Beaver Creek, Colo., Dec. 5, 2014 –Beaver Creek Resort will be opening four additional lifts for the season on Saturday, Dec. 6, providing access to terrain in Bachelor Gulch and Strawberry Park from the Beaver Creek Landing Ticket Office. The resort is currently offering 762 acres of terrain on the main mountain and in Bachelor Gulch.
The following lifts will open for the season at 9 a.m. on Dec. 6:
Drink of Water Lift (#5)
Riverfront Express Gondola (#7)
Lower Beaver Creek Mountain Express Lift (#15)
Upper Beaver Creek Mountain Express Lift (#18)
Skiers and snowboarders can ride these lifts and ski to the main mountain via Strawberry Park or enjoy the terrain in Bachelor Gulch. Return access to Beaver Creek Landing and The Westin will be available via shuttle.
For Birds of Prey race access spectators should plan to ride the designated race shuttles to Red Tail Finish Stadium from the Covered Bridge in Beaver Creek Village or intermediate skiers can ski Latigo trail to upper Dally and ski to Red Tail Stadium. Early season and natural snow conditions exist in certain areas and skiers are reminded to obey all posted signs, warnings and closures.
