Beaver Creek’s Rodeo Series Kicks Off Thursday, June 26 for the Summer
Beaver Creek, Colo. June 25, 2014 – The Beaver Creek Rodeo Series, presented by the Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, kicks off Thursday, June 26 for the 13th season. The spirit of the old west is alive and exciting, at the Beaver Creek Rodeo grounds every Thursday night weekly through Aug. 14 except for July 24. Dates for the rodeo series this summer are June 26, July 3, 10, 17 and 31 and Aug. 7 and 14. Sip champagne, enjoy food and drinks from local vendors and watch the Western style events unfold. The Beaver Creek Rodeo Series is a staple to summer western fun in Beaver Creek.
The whole family will enjoy the full lineup of rodeo events including Bronc Riding, Calf Scramble, Team Roping, Mutton Bustin’, Barrel Racing, Bull Riding and Burro Racing. The Grand Entry and National Anthem begin at 6 p.m. Rodeo tickets may be purchased at the Beaver Creek Information Center in Beaver Creek Village up to 3 p.m. on the day of the rodeo or onsite at the rodeo beginning at 5 p.m. The rodeo takes place rain or shine, and tickets are therefore non-refundable. 2014 ticket pricing is as follows:
The Beaver Creek Rodeo grounds are located in Avon behind Chapel Square at Traer Creek and free shuttle service to the rodeo is available from the Covered Bridge in Beaver Creek Village, as well as the Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa. Shuttles run continuously from 5- 9 p.m. Free parking is available directly across the street from the rodeo grounds, with a one-minute walk to the site. Alcoholic beverages, pets, and glass containers are not permitted on the rodeo grounds.
