Beaver Creek’s New Year’s Eve Family Bash Welcomes 2014 with Fireworks, Two Balloon Drops, Games and Dancing
Beaver Creek, Colo., Dec. 26, 2013 – Beaver Creek begins the New Year with fireworks and the 3rd annual New Year’s Eve Family Bash on the evening of Dec. 31.  The captivating glow stick ski-down and Torchlight Parade start the night off at 6:15 p.m. with the Beaver Creek Village Fireworks Show following at 6:45 p.m. The New Year’s Eve Family Bash celebration will entertain all ages after the fireworks, from 8:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. at McCoy’s Café and Bar in Ford Hall.

The New Year’s Eve glow stick ski-down has skiers and snowboarders winding their way down the Hay Meadow trail in the dark holding glow sticks, back to the base area. The glow stick ski-down is open to intermediate and above level skiers and riders. For more information and registration for the glow stick ski-down, call (970) 754-4636 or visit Children’s Ski and Snowboard School at the base of the Centennial Express Lift. The Torchlight Parade takes place on 1876 trail at 6:30 p.m., where professional skiers and riders will ride to the top of the Centennial Express Lift and make their way down carrying a fire-lit torch in hand. This event is set to music and concludes with a grand fireworks display.

At 8 p.m. after the fireworks, guests can head inside of McCoy’s for the New Year’s Eve Family Bash. This is a special family friendly event designed for all ages. Entertainment will include a DJ, dancing, raffle prizes, two balloon drops with one at 10 p.m. and one at 12 a.m., games, activities, snacks, drinks and adult beverages.

Tickets for the New Year’s Eve Family Bash are $40 for ages six through adult, five and under are free. Tickets can be purchased online on www.BeaverCreek.com.
