New Allie’s Cabin Featured Wine Dinners Include Fine Wines, Fireworks and Unique Pairings

Beaver Creek, Colo., Dec. 23, 2013 – New this winter, Allie’s Cabin, situated in a quiet aspen grove on Beaver Creek Mountain, is offering Featured Wine Dinners with a celebrated group of wineries on select Thursday evenings from now through March 20, 2014 and coinciding with Thursday Night Lights.
Allie’s executive chef Kirk Weems will offer his classic contemporary regional fare and each course has been crafted to be the perfect pairing for the featured wines of the evening. Guests will arrive via open-air sleigh to Allie’s Cabin and enjoy multiple courses and wine pairings while enjoying views of the fireworks lighting up the evening sky over Beaver Creek for Thursday Night Lights. The cost for each dinner varies and ranges between $155 to $199 per person.

Allie's Cabin, typically a private on-mountain venue serving Beaver Creek Club members and private groups, offers fine dining with spectacular views of Beaver Creek Village and the surrounding valley. The cabin is named after Allie Townsend who was known in the 19th century as the "First Lady" of Beaver Creek. She was the widow of George Townsend, the first settler of Beaver Creek.
The menu features a myriad of contemporary regional cuisine including prime aged meats, game, fish and fowl. The cabin is hewn from stacked, rough-sawn timber with mountain-style architecture, and features a large, sunny deck adjacent to a quaint bar.
