Vail’s Adventure Ridge Opens for Winter Activities Including Tubing and Zip-Lining
Adventure Ridge atVail Mountain, one of the largest ski resorts in the world, is now open for the 2013-2014 winter season offering a hub of alternative winter activities and fun for the whole family high atop the Eagle Bahn Gondola at Eagle’s Nest.
In addition to skiing and snowboarding on more than 2,500 acres of skiable terrain at Vail, guests can now enjoy activities like snow tubing, ski biking, kids snowmobiling and bungee trampolines. Adventure Ridge’s new zip-line, which debuted over the summer, will open for the winter season on Friday, Dec. 20.
Adventure Ridge is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sundays and Mondays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
After working up an appetite at Adventure Ridge guests can now enjoy dinner at Bistro Fourteen and Game Creek Restaurant Tuesday through Saturday beginning at 5:30 p.m. Both restaurants will also be open for the Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve holidays.
