Beaver Creek Snow Alert #2: Strong Storm Drops a Foot of Snow Allowing Beaver Creek to Open 244 More Acres of Terrain Today
Beaver Creek, Colo. Dec. 4, 2013- The powerful winter storm blasting the Colorado Rockies has dumped up to a foot of fresh snow at Beaver Creek allowing Ski Patrol to open 244 additional acres of terrain for skiers and snowboarders today. In total Beaver Creek is offering 760 acres of terrain for all ability levels.
Additional trails opened on the main mountain today including 1876, lower Centennial, Bear Trap, Buckboard, Assay, Gold Rush, Moonshine, Bootleg and Sheephorn Face. In Bachelor Gulch Gunder’s and Grubstake trails are now open.
