Mountain Travel Symposium is the largest gathering of mountain travel professionals, including ski resorts and property management companies, in North America.
“Thanks to a combined bid effort between the Breckenridge Ski Resort, the Breck Resort Chamber, Beaver Run Resort, and the Town of Breckenridge, we are happy to announce that Breck has won the right to host the Mountain Travel Symposium for the first time since the early 1980s,” said Kieran Cain, Director of Marketing & Sales for Breckenridge Ski Resort.
“A lot has changed in Breck since then, and we are excited to show off Breck as one of the premier travel destinations in the world to industry professionals. Next year’s event will fall directly in the middle of our month-long Breck Spring Fever festival, and the combination of this and the opening of our brand new terrain at Peak 6 will make the 2014 MTS event one to truly remember.”
The theme of the 2014 MTS in Breck will be “It’s About the People”, and will reflect the opportunity of some of the world’s top mountain destination travel professionals to interact with each other, but also to experience the legendary spirit and character of the local residents of Breckenridge.
The Mountain Travel Symposium (MTS) is the largest gathering of mountain travel professionals in North America and draws approximately 1,200 participants from around the world to conduct business during the Trade, Group, and Meeting and Incentive Conference and Exhibition (MICE) Exchanges. A two-day professional development Forum featuring nationally known speakers is part of the week-long Symposium. For more information about MTS, visit www.mtntrvl.com
