Winter is Still in Full Force at Vail with 11 Inches of New Snow This Morning

VAIL, Colo. – March 22, 2013 – Even though the calendar says it’s spring the snow report at Vail, the largest ski resortin the United States,clearly says it’s still winter with 11 inches of fresh powder reported early this morning and more in the forecast as we head into the weekend.
 
Skiers and snowboarders can enjoy access to more than 5,000 acres of open terrain at Vail and great conditions this spring.
 
In addition to great snow, guests can also look forward to a stellar lineup of spring events at Vail as well with the Vail Film Festival March 28-31, Taste of Vail April 4-6, Skiing Heritage Week April 7-14, and Vail’s signature end-of-season party Spring Back to Vail, April 8-14. Spring Back to Vail will feature free concerts from O.A.R, Sublime with Rome, and Jimmy Cliff.
