Breckenridge Ski Resort Receives a Foot of Snow in 24 Hours
  • Peak 7 to open with additional 681 acres on Thursday

BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. — Dec. 18, 2012— With snow still falling, Breckenridge Ski Resorttoday reported a foot of new snow at the resort in the past 24 hours, with plenty more in the forecast until Wednesday afternoon.  The ski resort has received 20 inches in the past week and now has over 600 acres open across Peaks 8 and 9.
 
Peak 7 to Open on Thursday
Breckenridge also announced Peak 7 will open this Thursday, Dec. 20th, bringing over 680 total skiable acres opening to the public. The Independence Chair will open at 9 a.m. and all skier services, including the ticket office, rentals, etc. will be fully operational.
