Another 8” of Powder Falls at Vail with New Terrain Opening Tomorrow
  • Riva Bahn Express Lift (#6) and Highline Express Lift (#10) to open Wednesday.
  • Adventure Ridge now open for snow tubing, ski biking, kids snowmobiling and more.
  • Bwana terrain park to open Saturday.
VAIL, Colo. – Dec. 18, 2012 – The snow continues to fall on Vail Mountain, the largest ski resortin the United States, with an additional 8” of powder greeting skiers and snowboarders on the slopes this morning and plenty more on the way for tomorrow.
 
The new snow is making for great conditions on the mountain and on Wednesday skiers and snowboarders will have access to more than 1,400 acres of terrain and the following lifts:
  • Gondola One
  • Avanti Express Lift (#2)
  • Wildwood Express Lift (#3)
  • Mountaintop Express Lift (#4)
  • Riva Bahn Express Lift (#6)
  • Game Creek Express Lift (#7)
  • Born Free Express Lift (#8)
  • Highline Express Lift (#10)
  • Northwoods Express Lift (#11)
  • Gopher Hill Lift (#12)
  • Sourdough Express Lift (#14)
  • Little Eagle Lift (#15)
  • Eagle Bahn Gondola
  • Cascade Lift (#20)
Bwana terrain park will open Saturday morning.
