Beaver Creek Hosts Fashion Show and Post-Race Events in the Village During Birds of Prey
This year's Birds of Prey World Cup race brings more than just the world's fastest men to Beaver Creek; new this year, head to Beaver Creek Village after the downhill and super G races on Friday and Saturday respectively, to continue the celebration. In partnership with SNOW Magazine, Veuve Cliquot and Red Bull, Beaver Creek Resort brings you a fabulous winter-themed fashion show and the Discover Beaver Creek Scavenger Hunt with over $1,000 in prizes that are drawn at the public bib draw, where racers learn their start order.
 
Beginning at 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, the party kicks off with drink specials from the Veuve Clicquot, New Belgium, Fetzer, and Red Bull bars at the ice rink with music from a Red Bull DJ. At 4 p.m. in the plaza, Beaver Creek and SNOW Magazine will showcase the hottest brands in both après ski attire and looks for the slopes.  Don't miss the latest from GorsuchSkeaThe Luxury ShopsBogner and many more. On Saturday after the race at 4 p.m., don't miss the Discover Beaver Creek Scavenger Hunt where you can follow an official clues sheet to various merchants and notable spots as you compete to win one of three $400 prize packages. Also on Saturday, make sure to bring the family for free ice skating from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Black Family Ice Rink in the heart of Beaver Creek Village.
 
Guests that have a Black Diamond Ball ticket or Birds of Prey VIP credential can visit the Beaver Creek Resort Company tent at the Birds of Prey Venue and show their credential or ticket and receive a VIP credential for the fashion shows on Friday. This VIP credential gets you into the Veuve Clicquot VIP area in the Village, in front of J. Scott Jewelers and Avalon, along with the VIP fashion show viewing area, on the west Grand Staircase.
 
Following the scavenger hunt, head to the Vilar Performing Arts Center for the free Birds of Prey public bib draw at 6 p.m hosted by the Vail Valley Foundation. Join the top giant slalom racers in the world as their bibs are drawn for the race on Sunday, Dec. 2 and presented to them by local kids. With over $1,000 in prizes, this event is sure to get you excited for race day and is fun for the whole family.
